Church History
Harvest Baptist Church was established in 1993 in the basement of the Budget Host Inn with just a few people. Pastor Smith came to Fort Dodge to pastor the small group of believers that wanted a church. With two Tupperware bowls for offering plates, the group was there to learn. Soon after, the church bought the old Silver Spur Saloon and converted it into our current Harvest Baptist Church building.
The Lord has worked in many ways through the years and has blessed HBC greatly. Through outreach, the church has seen thousands come to Christ in salvation and many more find freedom through Christ.
In 1995 Harvest Baptist School opened and has been tuition free the majority of those years. They have had many students graduate from high school through it's history.
In 1998 Harvest Baptist Bible College opened and has trained many students to work in the ministry.
God has truly blessed us and we couldn't be more thankful for all he has done!
